Interview Strategies
Demonstrating confidence
Many people find approaching an interview daunting, and as such feel nervous when put on the spot. When this happens, they freeze despite knowing that they have a lot to offer the role they are being interviewed for.
Going to an interview feeling confident that as much preparation has been done is a real advantage. The workshop offers practical support in the form of strategies and frameworks to ensure that interviewees are positioned well and feel confident to promote and market themselves in the best possible and positive way. The workshop covers the following and more:
- Demonstrate confidence in the interview through thorough preparation and research
- Understand the importance of first impressions and body language, and their impact in the interview
- Clearly articulate ability, willingness and fit to the role
- Answer behavioural questions and other questions
- Identify key questions to ask the interviewers that demonstrate interest and suitability for the role
- Identify the best way to handle salary questions effectively
- Obtain feedback to evaluate what went well and what could have gone better
There will be a small amount of pre-work to complete.
